AniVagas

The first careers platform built for Brazil's pet industry — designed and built by me, from concept to deploy.

AniVagas connects people who work with animals — vets, technicians, groomers, assistants — to the clinics, pet shops, grooming chains, and hospitals hiring across the sector.

It started as a classic job board and hit the chicken-and-egg every marketplace faces: no jobs, no candidates; no candidates, no recruiters. The fix was to rethink it as a specialized aggregator — a custom crawler gathers pet-industry jobs from Brazil's largest companies into one place. Inventory jumped from a few dozen to over a thousand active listings, and it grows every day.

I designed and built AniVagas end to end — the brand, the product, the front-end and back-end, and the crawler that keeps it stocked. The home leads with the positioning — pet careers, not another generic portal — and proves it the moment you land: live counts of jobs, companies, cities, and résumés, all growing every day.

The job page

Every listing works for both sides. Candidates get the full picture and apply in a tap — owned jobs on-site, aggregated ones redirected to the company. Recruiters turn the same page into revenue: feature a listing for a flat fee, or subscribe to a package for unlimited highlights and access to the résumé database.

The listing

Owned and aggregated jobs live in one feed, each card tagged with its source. Filters by role, state, and contract type; a per-company cap keeps one chain from flooding the page; SEO-minded pagination. Built mobile-first — most candidates arrive on a phone.
